Hello Erling,

Thanks for your reply. I have tried setting up trunk groups but it
didn't make any difference, and as each line is in its own TRG I don't
think that peculiarity you mentioned was the problem.

Any other thoughts?

Thanks,

Edward

You need to use Trunk Groups instead of Ports. Now, this is where
programming is not what you would expect. Trunk Group 1 is actually
Line 1,
TRG 3 = Line 3, etc.

Subject: KX-T: KX-TVP50 Voicemail Problems

Hi,

I'm having some problems with a KX-TVP50 I've tried to set up. The
system is programmed to answer with the voicemail after 4 rings but it
seems to be very erratic and the voicemail is answering with the wrong
thing. The voicemail is set to answer with custom service 1 for port 1
and custom service 7 for port 2, but both ports are being answered by my
voicemail and callers never get the custom service menu. What have I
done wrong?

Thanks,

Edward
