That is a definite hack on your system. Be forewarned, there is a person
Panasonic calls 'sniper' that is located in the Philippines, he is notorious
for hacking Panasonic, and other systems. Do you have an 800 number? This
is his typical modus operandi:
He calls in via 800 number (toll free for him) , hacks into the vmail 999 &
998 mailboxes. Creates his own mailbox and setups up remote notify to an
overseas number(s) in the Philippines that he apparently receives money for
when your system dials to remote notify. He then records a message by
blowing in the phone several times or talking gibberish to trigger the remote
notify.

He either gets his jollies off on running up your phone bill for dialing
overseas. He gets very bored, and will give up after a while if you change
your passwords regularly. The key is to have 998 & mailboxes password
protected.

He hit a large real estate company I have, but since they required PIN
numbers for LD calls, none of them went through, and thus caused us only his
harassment. He has since given up on us, but on occasion likes to reappear
to see if we have let our guard down.
