RF is a possibility, but there is no transmitter near the ksu. They do have
some nextels around. Another clue is that there are some specific times
during the day that it seems to occur, although it can apparently occur at
other times too.

Since I've swapped out the entire system, I've ruled out any problem in the
ksu. Are you suggesting that by uploading the software to a new ksu, a
glitch may be carried over in the software? Gosh I hope not. They have a
fairly complex setup with 3 different companies' lines, and lunch and break
modes! I'd hate to have to reprogram it from scratch.

When I find out the times that it usually goes out, I will try to be there
then to observe. Another test is I'll put a pc on the smdr, see if it logs
when it resets. If the entire system is resetting then the smdr should be
restarting at those times. If it is only certain ports that are resetting,
then maybe the smdr will not show anything...

Guess I don't have to worry until after the weekend though.

Charles
