While going through information in a binder pertaining to the KR-2 I found a
letter from Herb Gillespie dated 12/6/1975 describing the Design Review he did
with a four page index of structural, material, dimensional, and safety
additions, corrections, and revisions to the KR-2 plans. Apparently the
document consisted of 29 pages of drawings and photos. As an example he sent
me the fuselage layout drawing that showed the side diagonal members meeting at
the top of the rear spar, instead of at the bottom. There were extra wood
re-enforcement pieces in the horizontal tail and elevator to provide for a
secondary failure mode.

It seems to me that this is something that I would have purchased at the time,
but I can't seem to find it anywhere.

Anyone have this document archived? Or have a copy? Could it still be for
sale?

Thanks, Bob
