If you already have a functional transponder and encoder, then the Echo UAT
paired with the SKYFXY-ext as your GPS source is one of the most reasonably
priced solutions. Add power, mount the UAT Out antenna and the GPS antenna,
make a run through the configuration menu from your phone or tablet and you're
set. Unlike the Tail and Wing Tip Beacons, the Echo-UAT has ADS-B In built
into it as well. Wifi to your GPS or Tablet and you've got traffic and weather
as well as your ADS-B out.

I've bought one for each of my planes (The KR, the SuperCub, then the RV) and
have been flying with the Echo UAT units for quite a while now. Additionally,
when I have run into issues, I've found their support to be excellent.
