I was recently asked by someone on the net "why all the garbage attached to a post"?  My only guess is that people making a post simply hit "reply" or "reply to list" and don't take the time to delete the post received except the one line or so they are replying to.  I suspect many on the list use their phone which is less convenient than a computer to clean up their post.  Those on the "digest" have additional info to delete or will simply increase the "garbage" attached to the post.  I suspect the many different software programs used on the increasing number of platforms we use aren't helping the situation any either.

So, lets clean up our act.  Delete all the superfluous text and instructions at the bottom, etc. when replying to a post.  Lets do our best to remember to change the subject when necessary or at least insure it is still on subject.  I'm old.  What's your excuse?
