All this discussion on "extended taxi test" should not discourage anyone from taxi test and doing a first flight before they are comfortable in the airplane or before the airplane is proven to be controllable and safe. It is simply a reminder to be mindful of any and all risk associated with all the different aspects of flight including ground handling and testing. Have a test plan, stick to it, understand the risk for each phase of testing, do it as safely as possible, and wear the KR grin with pride.
