Larry, Sorry for the confusion on the BRS installer....
Do you know if there was any design justification or reasons for the KR2's inability of recovery from a spin? Was it because of the designer wanted to make the bird a bit lighter by restricting the rudder/aileron control surfaces a bit too stringent needed for recovering should someone get into a spin by human errors, perhaps?!
