The 3 degree washout in the wing causes the wing root to stall first and keeps the air attached over the area of the ailerons to help maintain roll control.  It is quite effective as I observed when I "tuffed" the right wing and did stalls. I have video but not tech knowledgeable enough to load to Youtube.  In a straight ahead level stall, as in the flare, the air stays attached to the outer wing and I have roll control without use of the rudder.  In that type of stall the chance of a spin is remote.  Anyone doing spins in an untested airplane without a drag chute for recovery is strictly on their own.
