Keep in mind that you will be shifting your C.G. aft when you do that.  It is already easy to go too far aft C.G. with the KR as the pilot / passenger / fuel / baggage are a very high percentage of the gross weight.  I went with long narrow tanks in the outer wing panels just behind  the main spar ( 10" X 7' ).  No tanks in the fuselage.  From full to empty (25 gallon) my C.G. shifts forward 1".  I seldom fly with more than 15 gallon unless going cross country.  Fuel in the outer wings also reduce the weight carried by the W.A.F.'s.
