Hi Joe. You can see what Roy Marsh built for N133RM on my web site. The final measurements are 8" x 32". It does have large holes cut into it. With no other configuration changes while in slow flight (2200 RPM & 65 MPH indicated airspeed) the airplane goes from straight & level to a 400 FPM descent. It does require running full down nose trim I made a web page showing the actual installation here: http://www.bouyea.net/cur_proj/N133RM and you'll find the link to [Belly Brake] on the top of that page. Good luck. John Bouyea N133RM KR-2S - imported, fixed & flying www.bouyea.net/cur_proj/N133RM OR81/ Hillsboro, OR PS I installed a belly brake on my last KR2 as well. I largely followed Mark Langford's and Mark Jones' designs. If you want to see photos of that install, let me know offline.
-----Original Message----- For anyone using a belly board on their KR's I would like to know what size they have, is it the right size (opinion) and a debate that I remember from many years ago ...with holes in it or not to have holes _______________________________________________ Search the KRnet Archives at https://www.mail-archive.com/krnet@list.krnet.org/.
