Hi Joe.
You can see what Roy Marsh built for N133RM on my web site. The final
measurements are 8" x 32". It does have large holes cut into it.
With no other configuration changes while in slow flight (2200 RPM & 65 MPH
indicated airspeed) the airplane goes from straight & level to a 400 FPM
descent. It does require running full down nose trim

PS I installed a belly brake on my last KR2 as well. I largely followed Mark
Langford's and Mark Jones' designs. If you want to see photos of that
