You don't want "slop" in your aileron linkage.  Set the ailerons to "match" the cutout in the wing and remove as much "slop" as possible.  Slop could result in flutter.  Don't overthink the issue.  The airplane will fly regardless of built in errors. It will just fly better when done correctly.  With small errors you'll never know the difference.
