Those are good and valid points and I appreciate you stating them in such an 
accessible way.
Some of this for me is purely about understanding the options.I am in a bit if 
a unique position in terms of things you mentioned. I already have a number of 
VW engines (both GP and Revmaster) and a few projects that I have picked up so 
I have several pairs of wings (Including one set of the new airfoil ), tail 
sections, avionics, hardware, landing gear etc.
The one thing I don't have is a KR2S fuselage and so that is the major intent 
here. I may not end up going that route (cutting all my own) and have also been 
in touch with Wicks about hemlock for the fuselage which is ready to go.
I love that guys like you chime in and share your thoughts and believe me I do 
take it to heart. After all, you guys are flying a KR2 and I am not. I will 
keep flying my Preceptor Ultra Pup though... it's just not a KR.
