The glider that came apart accidently fired the BRS at 171 mph and the sudden stop ejected the pilot out of the craft still in his bucket seat. He went through the canopy. Luckily he was wearing a chute (for the 1st time) and after falling 8 thousand feet he was able to deploy the chute. It was tangled with debree from the canopy. Opened at 500' above the ground.
Bill Page boliverp...@bellsouth.net Accidentally fired the BRS? Is that like accidentally getting pregnant? ; ) According to BRS the unit will not fire "accidentally" It is a deliberate two step action, that requires unlocking the chute and vigorously pulling the handle. Glad he survived. Ron Smith Kr2ssxl Cypress Ca U.S.A. mercedesm...@yahoo.com http://ronsmith.myphotoalbum.com/albums.php --------------------------------- Want to start your own business?
