I use Autocad and Solidworks. [Expensive, but my clients require them] What you use is a question of what you want to do with a CAD program. 2D or 3D? 2D is fine for detailing parts and ECT and not expensive. 3D is more expensive and will take you longer to master. Depends what you want it to do. Pay your money and take your application.
