I would build a new spar. If you don't, it will always be in the back of 
your mind while you are flying that there could be a problem, that is why I 
don't take any chances. You have enough to think about while you are flying 
and the thought of a potential failure from taking a shortcut should not be 
in your mind at all.

In spite of using the WAF drilling the main spar I missed a little
bit. Is it permissible to use T88 and a 3/16 wood dowl to plug the
mistake or do I have to make a new spar?
