KR> Should I buy?

Hi, Being new to the KR net work I'm not sure how it works. I have a chance 
to buy a KR1. It was completed 14 years ago. It was N. numbered and flown once. 
It scared to builder so much that he put it away. The builder has since past 
on and the KR is for sale. The craft only has a few  basic instruments. The 
seller is asking $8000.00 for it. Is this to much to pay?     Thanks Cliff
