Just to add since I've seen QtCurve being mentioned a few times as an example of another style that has this feature: QtCurve v.1.8.7 does _not_ enable that behaviour by default. Its off if you run QtCurve the first time. Apparently people are still able to find the knob if they want to, otherwise nobody would know it exists (and hence nobody would mention that style here as example). So as Nikos said, having the feature - even for all widget areas in a window is fine, but do not enable it by default.
