since no one else has taken this one up...I seem to recall, when first
finidng this page some time ago, sending it to a friend (who may out
herself if she wishes) with a very derogatory comment that probably
shoudln't be repeated on-list.
However, this was after I met ESR in person, and his attitude towards
women left a lot to be desired, imo -- don't get me wrong, I deeply
respect his geekhood and his geek politics, but something tells me that
putting me and him in a room together to discuss gender issues would cause
a scene reminiscent of "The Gingham Dog and the Calico Cat"
V.(being civil..well, trying to anyway, since he isn't here to defend
himself)
