OTOH, the only difference between a solution-in-a-pill and a solution-in-a-
herb is that the pill has had the active ingredient of the herb pulled out
and purified, and stuck together with inert material.
Herbal remedies and pills are the same thing - a chemical solution. The
fact that one has the chemicals in nature and the other has the chemicals
artificially doesn't change the fact that those using them are turning to
chemicals.
That said, I will acknowledge that we NEED chemicals - what the hell is a
protein chain or a vitamin other than a chemical? But please be aware that
'going the herbal route' is not necessarily inherently 'better'.
And please, PLEASE don't anyone buy into the 'natural is good and safe'
thing. Hemlock is natural. Arsenic is natural. Cyanide is natural.
Responses, unless they swing back towards geekdom, to grrltalk.
