My veiw-
1) I don't use Linux for its ideology
2) I don't care about the concept of freedom that Linux offers.
3) I don't know anything about the GNU philosophy
4) I use Linux because it works for me.
5) Tomorrow I might start using Windows, if Linux stops working for me.
6) I am not in ilugd to support GNU ideology etc. I have a vested selfish
interest in ilugd.
7) If a frustrated Raju tomorrow starts a mathur freedom movement list, I'll
join that list also. relax! please...read on..
8) As I had stated in the meet also, I wont join that list because of the
freedom concept, but because of raju's Linux expertise.
9) I joined this list for the same reason. Several times I get stuck in
places in Linux and I need help. This is the place to find solutions.
10) I don't mind discussing proprietary Linux software in the list or in
meets.
11) I do not like receiving ads of proprietary software in this mailing
list. I also uphold sudhir, for apologizing for his mistake, which I believe
was purely unintentional. Mistakes do happen and to apologize is the best
thing to do.

I also feel that leaving aside the gurus, many in the list have the same
viewpoint as mine. Tactful/hesitant attitude is restricting them to speak
out about their selfish interests in ilugd. I am also not denying that, with
time, as we(Linux kids) mature to (elderly)Linux gurus, we might also start
feeling something about ideologies and develop the freedom bug.
