Elderly hoga tera ... anyway, nevermind that for now, woh to tere ko akele mein dekh loonga ;-) I agree, we probably need a Meet to discuss this. However, why don't we first take some time to talk about Linux on the list? At least three people (including you) have suggested that we have a Meet to thrash these issues out again. However, before we commit ourselves to anything let's view the issue from all sides. While we all tend to understand Linux's technical benefits, the philosophy and ideals that underlie those benefits may still be a question mark. I'm inviting you, and all you members of Linux-Delhi who read this mail, to post your views on freedom in software onto the list. I can only speak from one side of many the view points possible, but if anyone has any questions regarding the history of Linux, the GPL and other licenses, GNU or the current social-political-economic issues around free software I'd be glad to answer them to the bast of my ability. Equally, those who believe that proprietary software can promote Linux and/or freedom are also welcome to put their points of view across. If there's an angle I've missed, please feel free to bring it up.
