have you considered the possibility that he/she might be an 11 year old kid,
not aware of not just netiquettes but even how to interact with people
outside his/her age group? I don't know Muskan, and sometimes have
difficulty in believing that he/she is a kid. But I somewhat
personnally know of 10-12 year old kids posting to this list. Hell, they are
incoherent to say the least in expressing themselves to adults in
*normal lives*.

I refuse to ignore that possibility however small it is. We should
definitely be more forgiving to such audiences, don't you think?

Oh, people with such problems should do as you have done - have
killfiles. I personally have a small killfile containing email
addresses of "beloved" friends who consider me so close that they just
*have to* share their dailyjoke.com emails with me, every day. ;)

A more diplomatic and peaceful solution to mailing list problems is to
just ignore the mails from the sender. Works for most mailing-list problems anyway.
Responding to mails that ppl don't agree with prolongs the discussion,
causes heartaches/headaches, wastes bandwidth, and in general spreads
a bad feeling around.

I second this too. BTW, have you seen the overhead of mails to mailing
lists nowadays??? A typical message has about 75% header and about 20%
original matter. A typical mailing list manager is adding so many
non-critical data to every message sent out. Shouldn't these be more
optimised?
