I meant, by pure tamil, செந்தமிழ், along with words in tamil not commonly spoken by the common man. I am talking about people who understand tamil, but certain words they use cannot be considered as proper tamil, and yet they consider it as the tamil they know and are familiar with. In that case, using words that they know, and not words of proper tamil, will make it easier for them to read. Making these people go for a tamil dictionary for every word they do not understand(and if such words are used in abundance), then it is not user-friendly and will discourage such users from reading the web page. In that case, using the proper tamil word will not help him understand any better than if the corresponding english word were used. He either has to go for an english or tamil dictionary, which would defeat the whole purpose of the translation!
