Chris,

Still can't figure out if you are running on Apple Mac Silicon...
Apparently Chris is not. Back on 2025-02-07 15:28, Chris Tsuji via gnucash-user wrote:

but I think you must be if you are running macOS Sequoia 15.3 ?
... are you sure about that?  This Apple list of Mac models <https://support.apple.com/en-us/108052> lists systems from 2018 which support macOS Sequoia, and have intel processors. e.g. the MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2018, Four Thunderbolt 3 ports).

In which case you need to download and install the Apple macOS Apple Silicon version for your mac (Gnucash-Arm-5.10-1.dmg) - please confirm if that is what you have downloaded and are attempting to install.

I completely agree with this. There are GnuCash installers for macOS Apple Silicon and for macOS intel, and one should download the correct one.

That seems consistent with Chris having the Apple Silicon GnuCash installer for an intel Mac.

I upgraded the os to 15.3
Gnucash worked before I upgraded th os.

       Here what I did before

       When I open

       see attached one

When I click on open anyway

I get an error Gnucash quit unexpectedly

Then I click on reopen, and the above come up.

I then use open folder and find the gnucash file and click on
    it, and
it goes back to the above.

Attempted to open the file by clicking on it, but again goes to the
       above

Tried to obtain gnucash v5.10 but after downloading, I get a circle
with a line across the circle.

Dragged to the hard disk and receive the error that is it not
    supported
       on this mac.

       attachment 2 is the file
       Hope you can help

You mention, "I just upgraded".  Which did you upgrade, macOS or
       GnuCash?
Has this version of GnuCash ever worked on your computer with this
version of macOS? Or is it a matter of, it used to work, then you
changed either GnuCash or macOS, and it has never worked since?
