The original thread was from a month ago, and the OP was able to solve his 
problem, I believe. 

The version of GnuCash in use is immaterial, and telling people to upgrade is 
unlikely to solve their problem--unless you know for a fact that the problem in 
question has been observed and explicitly fixed in a later version. 

In this case, the problem would most likely be related to the user saving their 
data file in a DBMS format, but not having the libdbi drivers installed on the 
second iteration.
