There is no fixed timescale. When discussion dies down the vote is called. I imagine how the vote works will be explained for newcomers around the time it us called. On this occasion we need to allow time for many other interested parties (including but not limited to TDF) to decide if they want to sign up as initial committers. Therefore it is unlikely this proposal will go to a vote before the end if this week.
