In some cases I've been scolded or otherwise brought down to earth someone that I only later found to come from another IBMer, doing the right thing for AFS and the community, rather than simply following any corporate alliance. Personally I think that is the right thing. If a company thinks Apache is a good thing, and makes the investment of sponsoring developers to work in Apache projects, then they want Apache to succeed doing what it does well. To go against that risks subverting the very organizational investment being made. -Rob
