that is true, and was really my point about sryth. where as puppet
nightmares, core exiles, Alteraeon and lots of other donation games are
quite possible to progress far in without making a single donation, the same
is not true of sryth, which was precisely why I quit, indeed if the gm had!
just honestly said "pay more money" rather than simply raised the difficulty
of everything so that you had! to pay for those expesnive in game weapons I
might have been a little more sympathetic, this is why I catagorize what he
did as money grabbing, particularly to someone like myself who'd been
playing the game for many years.
