That makes sense, other than, from what I'm hearing through this thread, you don't get farther into the game unless you do "donate", in which case it would not be a donation, unless I am mistaken. Wouldn't that be like, let's say, you produce a game that must be registered with an unlock code, and put a message in the documentation that says something like, "For a donation of $29.95, we will send you your unlock code." People could play the demo, but go no farther unless they "donate", uh, I mean, purchase.

Good question. I suppose because donations are optional and you don't
have to donate to play the game. Therefore the author considers it
more of a donation where you get extra gold, experience, and so forth
rather than purchasing them for a small donation. :D
