I'm using QT Designer.
I think that's what started this thread.

I have decorate transient, that's why you see a frame and title bar
on the image I posted above.  Button 1 on the title bar moves a window.
I click on the word "Tools" in the window shown above and can move
the window anywhere I want.  I'm not sure if that's a standard fvwm
binding but it's easily arranged if not.

Please note that I haven't delved into why QT won't move windows
sideways under Fvwm.
Doubtless QT has some kind of issue with Fvwm and sideways movement.
I can't say who's fault it is.
