I appreciate that you care about ffserver. However, ffserver still uses symbols that were declared private in 2011/2012, so there has been ample time to fix ffserver. I'd really like libavformat not exporting them anymore as soon as possible, i.e. at the next major bump. I don't really mind keeping ffserver until then, as we have to keep backwards-compatibility anyway, but if it still uses private symbols when the next major bump happens, it will have to go.
