Is it hype or is it real ? We'll have to wait and see. Projected launch
late 2025. Maybe :)
A startup called Telo has designs, prototypes coming, for a very compact
pickup truck with a minivan option. Large enough to hold 4x8 sheets
fully inside and will fit in my driveway. 350 mile range with the larger
battery option.
If this comes to fruition, I'll buy it - minivan version !
It's about time that some entrepreneurs and investors realize that huge
pickup trucks with MWh batteries are just too big and too heavy and too
expensive. There's a whole market out there for something smaller, as
long as it has an appealing design (you can decide for yourself) and is
practical for those in the market. That's another "we'll have to wait
and see." But I'm thinking "yes".
