The 14-30 and 14-50 are 2 hots and a neutral with a ground, but the EVSE
doesn't use the neutral. Many EVSE come with a 6-50 plug, which is 2 hots
and ground with no neutral. With the 14-30, don't use the neutral
connection at all. If you connect to the neutral instead of the ground, it
can cause issues.
