When I buy something, I expect it to work the way I thought it would work. If
it doesn’t, I complain. If it does I say nothing.

I have a Chevy Bolt. I got it new in January of 2017. Even though my 2011
Nissan Leaf still met my needs, I wanted to do what I could to show there was a
market for such a car. It had an infant mortality problem with the rear view
mirror display. Even though it was a feature I never expected to use, I got it
fixed anyway. In the five years four months since, it has been in for service
once, for a manufacturer recall.

For me this has been the nicest car I have ever owned. The driver’s seat goes
back far enough and up high enough that my knees are not higher than my hips. I
never knew how comfortable I could be while driving a car. I do wish the roof
line was higher so that half my forward vision wasn’t obscured by the tinted
band on the windshield.

In over 45 years of owning and driving cars I never had a problem with a door
handle. Does Tesla really have so many problems with door handles, that they
have a specific service option for them? My sister had a Yugo and managed to
break the window crank.
