John, I’m using the Elcon UHF 6.6kw charger in my S10 conversion. I replaced a Manzanita PFC40 with it. I have an Elithion Lithiumate Pro BMS which knows how to interact over CAN with the Elcon. I only use level2 J1772 EVSE. The Elithion doesn’t have a native J1772 interface so I just use one of the simple pilot signal enable circuits to turn on the EVSE. This works as long as the EVSE is good for at least 7kw, which most of the public chargers are and both of mine at home as well.
The Elcon has an isolated CAN interface as well as an isolated 5 amp 12 vdc output which will run the BMS when the charger is enabled and powered up.
