*Update 20160403 The friendly response I got back from @emotorwerks.com was that they are working on this type of product but are not at the point of selling it (perhaps later).
I also got a response from a China company that sez: 'Yes, we have a single phase 220~240V input version 9.6kW output CHAdeMO charger, its output current is 25A. It is cheap and good for simple fast charging, it is 3 times faster then 3kW on board charger.So, what can we cooperate with your company?" (25 Amps @ CHAdeMO's 400 VDC = 10kW) Looks like they will need an EV business (which I am not) to be the vendor for this product (likely line-up orders ahead of time, to do a quantity buy from them, etc.). So, I will reply inquiring for more details (minimum quantity purchase, @what price, etc.), but what is needed now is an EV business to step in and work with them to sell this product to N.American EV drivers that want this product. Perhaps a kickstarter page could be used to generate the money to do the group buy? As I said, I have ideas, but an EV business needs to step in at this point to let this happen. ?EV businesses, got your ears on? ?Any takers?
