Used similar materials or build EMI ³tents.² They worked quite well, but we needed just a little shielding effectiveness.
The SE for a structure will always be limited by the treatment of seams and apertures. The SE inherent in the conductivity of the metal or metalized fabric is not the limiting issue. Another obvious observation is that absent absorber, the chamber will be resonant. So whether this works or not depends on what kind of testing is desired. Anyone here in the forum that have experience with this type of shielding? The goal is => a manufacturer wants to build a pre-testing site in-house (5m x 2m x 2m). Thanks for any comments.
