NO ONE 'manages' a free market, or mandates certain 'expectations' be met. 

Last time that was tried... let's see...  the Union of Soviet Socialist 
Republics.  Oops, my bad: out of business since '91. 

You want to be an entrepreneur in a free-market capitalist society?  'Taking a 
Chance' is kinda fundamental to the whole concept. 

Set your prices too high? You lose
Set your prices too low?  You lose. 
Set your prices just right? You win. 

Simple, no?
