I see the Mailman archive preserves the non-breaking spaces you send by viewing https://mailman.lug.org.uk/mailman/private/dorset/2024-December/019888.html and then choosing to look at the page's source in the browser followed by searching for ‘160’ to find the U+00A0 characters as HTML numeric entities.
