And again what was earlier successfully emailed as space-space becomes nbspace-space when quoted. You've a space-space in the new text, after !!!!, as before. $ sed '1,/^$/d' `mhpath .` | base64 -d | > sed 'h; s/[\t -~]/ /g; /[^ ]/! d; s//^/g; x; p; g' > Here are a couple of sentences sent from Betterbird. Any sign of the ^ $ * * * The Betterbird author left me with the impression that Thunderbird is designed from Mozilla ‘components’, probably with high use of object orientation, all of which adds layers, complexity and accrue bit-rot in quality over time as features are added and regressions introduced here and there. The result is something complex to debug and risky to alter. A classic problem in software once it reaches a certain size and age. Time for a second system! That'll fix it. -- Cheers, Ralph. -- Next meeting: Online, Jitsi, Tuesday, 2025-01-07 20:00 Check to whom you are replying Meetings, mailing list, IRC, ... https://dorset.lug.org.uk New thread, don't hijack: mailto:dorset@mailman.lug.org.uk
