BTW where do the current texts for translation in Transifex come
from?
It was uploaded after splitting the core translations from the
contrib app translations:

I did a major review of the catalan translation on "trunk" but it
seems that the work I already did is missing here. Any hints as to why
is that? And what is the best way to reuse the django.po I have for
trunk here?
I'm not sure I can follow, where did you make the review? Can you
point me to a ticket? Which revision did you make the review of?

I can't tell you right now which revision I started with, it was HEAD
for
trunk at the time (last summer). I could check when I get back home.
It was committed in r13583:
http://code.djangoproject.com/changeset/13583
In case you have an older (pre-r15258) Catalan PO file you probably
need to do the merge manually or use Transifex to port the changes
over. Some of the apps listed on
http://code.djangoproject.com/wiki/Localization also provide a local
translation memory which can be used to merge different translation
catalogues.
Cheers,
