We have discussed this previously on this list... and many were in favor
indeed.

This could be complicated. There may also be hidden problems. For
instance, would content be created on the "spreadopenoffice" site? Under
what license? And, what if the site were to go down or you were to be
unable to maintain it?  These are important but not insurmountable
points that need to be addressed.  (Other points also come to mind.)

Thanks for posting and thanks for asking!  And thanks, too, for taking a
lead here.  Again, I regret my lack of earlier response (well, it was
only a few hours ago that you posted).  

I'd like, however, to ask the MP leads their views on the suggesting
guidelines for such a project and to answer the questions I raised.
After all, this site would be representing OOo.
