  I'm for this one.

It's time to think what is the site's goal.

  a) Inform people about OpenOffice.org, tell them how to convert all
documents from Microsoft Office, where to download, how to
install and list of categorized things.

  b) Group people and let them work on anything, ... If this is the
goal, what is your plan with oooforum.org, ooodocs.org, ...?
I have a feeling that these dynamic things will duplicate
     existing sites.

I'm affraid that this will lead to the MandrakeClub.com where I have
lot of articles in four languages. If I select just one language,
I've got very few articles if this is not the main language.

You will need people for bot alternatives, because someone have to
translate content of your site. The truth is, that the first version
  is less time-consuming.

Hmmm, try to answer question - what is the spreadopenoffice.org site
goal? If you'll know answer, it's quite easy to make decission.

Cheers,
