Hi Willem I am pretty sure this should not be having a bar like a project official committer. But no bar? I don't think this is a reasonable idea. As ALC we will use the Apache branding and Apache ALC branding, I prefer there should be some guides, otherwise, how should we protect it?
And more, how should we make sure, the member could talk about the culture of Apache basically correct(I wouldn 't say accurate, but at least, not misguide)? -- This question is suitable for JianSheng too. How about the next one asking joining the ALC, what should we do?
