I think in the past we have had a general template that had things like
name, contact information, abstract, detail timeline, and also asked how
much time the student would be committing during the summer and what
other commitments they had. I think it is good to have a free format
but provide a template to make sure that such important information is
included.

For the project ideas page, we only have three so far which might make
us look a bit week. Perhaps send a clear message to this list and also
code-awards to clarify how they are to be marked. There may be some
confusion there.
