Doris, I think we are a little bit closer to figuring out what is happening. There is something that I would like for you to do to help us see better what is going on. If you would, please do the following steps:
1. Insert any CD into the computer 2. Open the program called "Terminal" (Can be found in "Accessories") 3. Type the following command: apport-collect -p devicekit-disks 478962 and press enter (you might want to copy-n-paste that command). This will collect various pieces of information and help you amend this bug report. When that is finished, you can go ahead and close the Terminal program. Thanks! -- Before Ubuntu upgrade to 9.10, the Rhythmbox side pane had the item "Unknown" which I had to click to play inserted CD's. That's missing, so I can't play CD's. Help!
