Ok, I am fairly convinced that this isn't a problem with rhythmbox as much as it is a problem with Ubuntu not recognizing the insertion of the CD. Just to test, could you find a non-music CD or DVD and insert that into the drive to see if Ubuntu does anything?
-- Before Ubuntu upgrade to 9.10, the Rhythmbox side pane had the item "Unknown" which I had to click to play inserted CD's. That's missing, so I can't play CD's. Help! I don't know what to do, if not that? https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/478962 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to rhythmbox in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
