Hi. Just out of interest, is anyone planning to look at the porting problems
with kaffe? AFAICT, kaffe is being kept out of testing because of failed
builds on sparc and m68k. By my understanding, this is problematic because
kaffe is the only package in main that provides java-runtime. The new java
policy states that java apps *must* depend on java1-runtime or java2-runtime,
which means that every java app in main/ that complies with this policy will
be kept out of testing until kaffe's porting bugs are fixed (and kaffe
provides java1-runtime, not just java-runtime, although that is easily fixed).

Ben.
