I confirm I know this option. However, if Janitor changes from debhelper compat 9 to 10, later from 10 to 11 etc. and the package is not uploaded I fail to see the sense in accumulating changelog entries which override themselves. Thus, as I said, I prefer running the Janitor tools manually right when I intend to upload a package. Thank you for the hint anyway Andreas. -- https://fam-tille.de
